Wednesday Addams” inspiration shoot at Château Belle Fontaine

A dark, romantic and offbeat universe inspired by the Wednesday series

This project was born out of a desire to break with traditional wedding codes, drawing inspiration from a universe that is at once mysterious, strong and aesthetically pleasing: that of the Mercredi series. When I was asked to join this inspirational shoot asorganizer and coordinator, I immediately said yes. It was the perfect opportunity to explore a completely different, more theatrical style, while retaining my rigorous organization and eye for detail.

The perfect backdrop for this dramatic setting? Château Belle Fontaine, with its characterful architecture and slightly wild gardens. From the moment you arrive, you’re immersed in a gothic chic ambience of forest, ancient stone and subdued light.

The ceremony was imagined like a scene from a film, with an altar beneath a sculpted pavilion, decorated with a cameo of violet flowers, deep blue and black accents. A powerful scenography, accentuated by the contrast with the surrounding woods and the antique carpets on the floor.

The bride, in a unique gown combining black and midnight-blue tulle, perfectly embodied the spirit of Mercredi: independent, mysterious and intensely elegant. The groom, in a classic black suit, brought a touch of contrasting sobriety. Every element – from the vintage typewriter to the decorative vials – contributed to creating a supernatural, cinematic and spellbinding atmosphere.

My role that day was to coordinate all the service providers, ensure that the schedule ran smoothly, and make sure that each staging was perfectly orchestrated. The result? An extraordinary shoot, of which I’m particularly proud, and which proves that a wedding can also be off the beaten track – while remaining refined and coherent.
