Thierry’s 50th birthday surprise
A surprise Casino-themed 50th birthday party
When Thierry’s wife contacted me to organize a surprise for her 50th birthday, I was immediately taken with the idea. She wanted to mark the occasion with a themed evening that reflected her personality: joyful, original and full of life. So the Casino theme came naturally, to create a chic, fun and memorable atmosphere.
I imagined an entirely bespoke decor based around the casino’s flagship colors: red, black and white, with touches of green thanks to the chips. At the entrance, guests were greeted with a personalized welcome sign, an XXL dice and balloons to immediately immerse them in the Las Vegas atmosphere.
The centerpiece? A large, festive, structured balloon arch, decorated with giant tokens and balloons carefully chosen to respect the palette. A real “wow” effect from the moment you enter the room!
For the tables, I designed original centerpieces: large vases filled with dice and water, with floating candles for a touch of light, all set on hand-painted trays in the shape of tokens. Paper flowers inspired by playing cards rounded off the décor with finesse and humor.
The challenge was to create an immersive, festive and classy atmosphere – and Thierry’s smile when he arrived confirmed that the surprise had worked perfectly! The guests played along, and the evening was filled with laughter, emotion and good humor.
Imagining this unique birthday surprise was a real pleasure. Every detail counted to create a coherent and memorable ambiance – and that’s exactly what I love about my job. 💫
